Active experience in nature, well-being and relaxation are the pillars of the alpine lifestyle. Therefore, our cozy sauna area offers you the perfect possibility for relaxation after an active day. We have 3 different saunas available, covering different needs:
The Finnish sauna with its 90 ° C helps you to strengthen your immune system and to really sweat properly. The heat generated by pouring water on the hot stones opens the pores of your skin, which contract again when cooling down in our cold water basin. This improves blood flow to the skin, as well as to the airways.
This is particularly recommended for sauna beginners, as it is very gentle on the circulation compared to other types of sauna. In the sauna cabin, a container with medicinal herbs creates a pleasant scent. The humidity is around 50-60% and the temperature is on average 55-60 ° C. Thanks to the low temperature, a sauna session can last up to 30 minutes.
The heat generated by the infrared radiation comes up to 30 degrees and is comparable to the effect of a red light lamp. It relieves joint problems and muscle tension. The sweating has another benefit: the body releases toxins and detoxifies itself.
Heat is one of the oldest natural remedies and relieves back pain, muscular tension and strengthens the immune system. Cooling off afterwards in our cold water basin is also a great way to get going the circulatory system, to improve the blood circulation and metabolism.
After the sauna you can relax in our cozy relax room or in our hot-whirlpool and let the problems of everyday life fade away. Also, you can refresh yourself at our tea corner with a herbal tea or a home-made lemonade.
Our sauna area is open daily from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. In order to avoid crowds, we ask you to register at the reception beforehand.
